On June 07, 2020, Vineet was honoured with the "Award of Excellence in Global Journalism" in Auckland, New Zealand by the recipient of The New Zealand Order of Merit ( MNZM ) in appreciation of devotion apropos to objectivity, fairness and balance in Journalism pertaining to outstanding contribution for reporting exclusive stories from India, Hong Kong, China and New Zealand. The New Zealand Order of Merit was established by Royal Warrant on May 30, 1996 by Elizabeth II, Queen of New Zealand.
